My Bali, My Life – Learn from mistakes project

Medical expense is not cheap now. You’re lucky if you are covered by an insurance, or your company reimburse your
medical bills. Not in my case.
I went to Prima Medika Hospital in Denpasar to check my condition this morning. I have this sore throat that feels unusual, something just feels wrong. And I also have this swollen glands since several months under my left jaw I’m always afraid to check it out. Dr Arista is a young female general practitioner, she’s very nice & friendly and was so attentive to my complaints & worries, and gave me all the suggestions for a better health. She said I should avoid these following, for the next couple of weeks :
I could definitely skip the first one, but how could I not drink my mango juice, Coca Cola Zero with lots of ice cubes, and last but least : ice cream-my comforter!
Anyway when I told Dr Arista the kind of medicine I’m alergic with as per instruction from my parents that are both doctors, also I mentionned that Dr Arya-the senior medical doctor/Director of Marketing of Prima Medika is my friend as well as his wife, then suddenly she removed the doctor fee from my bills! How amazing is that! I only had to pay the medicine.
Another magic word to reduce your medical cost : doctor’s daughter; doctor’s friend; doctor’s wife friend…huahaha…:p Which one is yours?

It’s so true. My mom is a doctor, so I got “special price” all the time from other doctors, but I rarely went to another doctor though because I think my mom is the best doctor in the world and it’s always free of charge
anyway, get well soon. You need to restrain yourself from eating all that “nasi goreng abang2 yang enak abisss” though. I know it’s really good, but 1 week without “Mr. Mr. fried rice” (nasi goreng abang2 mksdnya) won’t kill you, I suppose. Man…my mouth is watering now thinking about those “Mr. Mr. fried rice.”
